A Season To Remember
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jul 15, 2005 -> 10:36 AM) I was actually up at night the other day, stirring at how distant a future Illini run at the Final Four may be. I know we just extended Weber through 2011, and I'm very happy about that, but we won't see a talent level similar to that of the 2004 team for years to come. Kinda sad actually. That said, I wouldn't trade this season for anything in the world. It was one hell of a ride and I was damn proud to be a small part of it. you really should look into joining orange krush this year, it's a hella good time

A Season To Remember
argh, a month ago i was looking at it and forgot to order it. I just ordered it now. I know brian shed some tears, i'm sure i will.

Are you a seeder?
I'm a huge fan of original and bbq as well. Give me a bag and i can go through it in a day, especially if baseball is on. I agree that ranch is digusting, too much flavor. I've never seen the nacho/jalapeno ones before in stores. I'd probably like the jalapeno ones too.

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 08:33 PM) That's why his BA won't be as high as it could/would be. kind of, but also think of how many good pitches he gets because the pitcher is distracted by pods. it all evens out.

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 08:26 PM) And the thing is that he's not usually as awful as he looks. He just works so slowly and walks so many people that it looks like he absolutely blows. But it's not necessarily the case. he gets into jams everytime, its just sometimse he makes the pitches to get out of it and sometimes he doesn't. I still hate watching him pitch.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 08:16 PM) I do, too. Gives himself more range by playing deeper. And, I didn't see the first couple innings, so forgive me if I missed something, but Contreras is not getting the same strikezone as Millwood. Millwood is getting the calls off the plate, and up in the zone. Contreras isn't even getting the knee high strike called. IMO. in the 1st inning, milwood was getting some terrible calls. As in, in our favor. I didn't see the 2nd or 3rd, so can't comment.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 08:12 PM) No but the response of mine you quoted was asking soxnbears how that play anything to do with chemistry. No chemistry was involved... it was just a smart heads up play by one of the best ''fielding'' center fielders in the game. alright alright, i get your point. just thought it was a great example of teammates knowing each other and picking each other up.
