Jerry Manuel is a scumbag!!! He must be blind, because he certainly isn't seeing the obvious, that, aside from Magglio Ordonez, Aaron Rowand has the most heart of all other outfielders. Rowand is the only outfielder who's willing to FULLY "take one for the team," as he doesn't put his personal safety in thought when he goes back to make catches alongside the wall or dive to grab it before it hits the ground. In addition, his swing has majorly improved since being called up from AAA. Rowand's both hitting and giving us a great glove defensively, so he NEEDS to be an EVERY DAY player!!! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out, so why can't JM figure this one out?

I don't think anyone's dissing Cleveland at this point. Many of us have pointed out the fact that they're going to play a MAJOR role in the final standings in the division. In addition, mention has been made to the fact that they are playing actual baseball since the break (hugely impacted by the stellar performance of Milton Bradley). Where has Cleveland been dissed recently?

Cotts is a good location pitcher, which is able to help make up for the lack of velocity to his pitches. During his time here at ISU, as well as his time in the minors, Cotts used a wicked breaking ball to his advantage, and was able to fool many batters into swinging. Through time, I believe he's going to be a formidable major league starter, and in a couple years, perhaps a good #3 or #4 man in the rotation. If he can gain some velocity, however, he may be able to be a #2 starter someday.

Let's just all remember what we said about Colon-Buehrle at the beginning of the season, and see that both are pitching sub-.500! My point is that ANYTHING can happen to even a rotation like that of KC. That's why games are played on the field instead of just on paper. I forsee this division being up for grabs until the final weekend of the season.
