Even if our offense is completely healthy, they're still gonna suck, and it's all because of John Shoop. Their running attack isn't gonna faze ANY defense this year! How can they gain any yardage using the run when our opposition stacks the box with 9-man fronts, because they KNOW we're gonna run. This is, at most, a high school-like offense. They need to air it out a little more, since it's a given that the opposing defense will not put many in the secondary, since they know to guard the run. Until Shoop's gone, this team isn't gonna amount to s***!

Neal looked AVERAGE. His location was getting better; however, he was still throwing pitches way outside of the strike zone--something he needs to work on, since he won't get away with that much up here in the majors. It's nice to see his walk total down and his strike total up since his last start. I think that this could be a confidence builder for him, and he'll do even better in his next start on Friday.

I'm not one to get down about many things in life, but this is really getting me down...There's no reason we should be three games out right now after sniffing first just over a week ago! Good thing KC goes to NY and Minnesota this week, and we're at home. But games like the past seven are those you HAVE to win! Taking one of them is VERY unacceptable!

I think this is just a case of somebody letting emotions get the best of them. Clearly some of these players are busting their ass. It's just that the vast majority of them are being lazy. Accountability is the main problem here. I don't think JM holds his players accountable, much like Brian Sutter. It's a shame that guys like Carlos and Maggs have to put up with this... On a positive note, there aren't many more road games after this...Just a couple more road trips that are week-long, while there's 1 that just a few games. They DO play much better at home. There's ALWAYS hope!
