    QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 11, 2014 -> 07:29 AM) I wish Shark Week didnt kick off with the crappy Faux-documentary about Submarine Shark. They should show the real stuff, the good stuff, before they show the poorly made show with bad actors pretending they are upset about events that didnt happen. I don't understand why they do it.. They try and make you believe the story is true, what is the point? I quick google search would tell anyone that it was fake even without the horrible acting and the fact they "found" footage from this crash where everyone fell off the boat into water.
  6. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 10, 2014 -> 06:16 PM) Beckham still there I was hoping he would be gone when I got home from work tonight... And nope
  7. I think as these kids continue to get bigger and stronger at such a young age they will have to move back the bases and mound.. They moved back the mound at this point you would be seeing a lot of slow pitching and even more home runs probably
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 10, 2014 -> 07:30 AM) I used to watch it when I was younger but there are so many errors and wild pitches that score runs that I find it more sloppy. They also need to move the fences back. They are 11-13, of course there will be errors and wild pitches lol. I do agree they need to move the fences back at least 15-20 feet. But I guess 225 is still pretty far for such young kids and I doubt they move it back anytime soon.
  9. I personally love the LLWS and a team from Chicago made it there this year! They are from the South Side and I am looking forward to watching them more. They can flat out hit the ball and their SS and C are very good defensively Hopefully I'm not the only one who enjoys watching the LLWS
  10. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 04:24 PM) Whoopie doo not bad enough Sox have one s***ty Danks on the roster now we have 2. Jordan Danks is NEVER the answer. Out of everyone who could play CF and come up, he is the best option, sorry to break it to you.. I guess blame the organization for not having someone good who can play CF on the team already
  11. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 04:21 PM) He has never hit well in the Majors, unlike Tuiasasopo, who as at least hit kind of ok in the Majors. Does Tuiasasopo play a good CF? And a career .207 is ok?
  12. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 04:18 PM) Danks keeps getting chances for no reason. Are people not understanding that our starting CF just went on the DL so we need someone to play CF who isn't Garcia or De Aza? The answer is Jordan Danks.. If it was De Aza or Viciedo who went down, we probably would have seen Taylor
  13. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 04:12 PM) Not just Taylor, but we also could've called up Matt Tuiasasopo who plays outfield and is hitting well for Charlotte. Has Jordan Danks not been hitting well?
  14. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 03:53 PM) What are Danks' numbers since June 1? In June: .347 avg, .409 OBP, 8 HR, 24 RBI, 12 BB July: .327 avg, .407 OBP, 4 HR, 16 RBI, 16 BB
  15. QUOTE (Vance Law @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 03:57 PM) This ribcage deal has to be related to the ribs-first wall smash from a few days ago right? Bruised back did not make any sense as the injury from that. Maybe jammed back. They said oblique so not sure if that happened from the wall hit or his swing last night
  16. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 03:49 PM) Danks is a beast in CF for the eye test. Please god don't let Robin use this as an excuse to play Leury. Use what excuse?? "Danks is a beast in CF, so I will play Leury!" That makes no sense
  17. Danks plays a good CF and has been pretty great for the past 2 or so months.. Not sure if Taylor even plays CF
  18. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 12:15 PM) I want Avi to not rush it. He can stay in AAA a little longer. He's coming off major injury. I want to see Semien back up along with Wilkins. Do they play the game differently in AAA?? The only reason players go on minor league rehabs is to get back in the swing of things and get use to playing again.. Dude is hitting .500 in like 6 games. He would probably benefit from being brought up so he isn't hit by s***ty pitchers so damn much
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 8, 2014 -> 11:22 PM) Agreed, and if Eaton goes on the DL, then call up Taylor. I think it would be Danks. Not sure how well Taylor plays CF if at all
  20. De Aza needs to take one for the team and play CF so Sierra can play instead of Garcia
  21. And I see Beckham, Dunn, and Garcia still suck......
  22. Nieto with 2 more hits I see, I like that kid
  23. At this point I can't wait until Sept 1st to see some of these guys
