  1. QUOTE (Vance Law @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 05:15 PM) He has started 7 games against lefties this year. 4 of them were in those 2 weeks. Why couldn't Robin start someone else those games?
  2. QUOTE (Baron @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 05:08 PM) and the guys he signed that are no longer on the roster or are just a burning pile of trash like Belly. His signings were bad.. But still think this bullpen would be better if stayed healthy
  3. QUOTE (Baron @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 05:05 PM) If Hahn deserves one thing its a standing ovation for this pen. Boy did he royally screw it up this year. Well he was kind of counting on Jones and Lindstrom.. And Putnam got hurt who was solid
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 05:00 PM) It was a lock someone was going to mention Rienzo as the answer. Never said he was the answer.. Was saying you might as well of put him in with how bad the bullpen is.. Not saying we would have won the game if Rienzo would have came in instead of Guerra or Thompson..
  5. QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 05:00 PM) Then why complain? Because we are tired of this s***ty bullpen?
  6. QUOTE (Vance Law @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:59 PM) And he's hitting .240 against righties. That's closer to what his total would be if Abreu hadn't spent time on the DL. I highly doubt that.... How many lefties did he face in the 15 or so games Abreu was gone?? And even if there was a lefty on the mound that doesn't mean he had to play.. I guess you can blame Robin for his average.......
  7. QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:57 PM) Pretty sure puttin Rienzo in would be giving up on the game. So is everyone else except Petricka
  8. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:55 PM) With Dunn's number of ABs, .245 vs .227 is 5 singles. You are going to base your hatred of a player based on 5 singles? You think I hate Dunn because he is hitting .227 this year?? That is his highest average since being on the White Sox....
  9. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:55 PM) Because you have to try to conserve your use of the bullpen from time to time. When Robin yanked guys for walking hitters and giving up runs and the game went 14 innings, it was a fireable offense on here. He gave you one inning that wasn't exactly a clean inning, you take it and quit pressing your luck with an unproven pitcher.. It doesn't really matter because I am sure whoever came in next would have let up a run
  10. QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:54 PM) Because Belly is the next man out lol It doesn't even matter anymore lol..
  11. I guess Robin has given up on this game.. I am surprised Rienzo wasn't brought in for the 6tth innin
  12. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:52 PM) Danish 4.0 IP, 1H, 0R, 2BB, 8K 2 k's per inning is insane
  13. Also if Dunn was hitting .245 or .257 I would have no issues with him except for his K rate
  14. QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:47 PM) Batting 6th or 7th he'd be fine. Look at the A's, who have the best offense in baseball.. Brandon Moss0 -.257/.336/.497 Josh Donaldson- .246/.331/.463 You can have a really good offense with guys like that in your lineup... I wish he would bat 6th or 7th, been asking for that the past 3 years... I get he isn't the problem with the offense but still want him replaced
  15. Alright guys I get it... My stance still stands though, he sucks Gordon sucks worse though
  16. I can't believe people are trying to back up Dunn. And I can't believe people want him back next year.
  17. QUOTE (Vance Law @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:33 PM) Batting average is a pretty meaningless stat without any other context. Especially in the context of an .845 OPS against righties. He is still horrible and I can't wait until he is gone
  18. QUOTE (raBBit @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:21 PM) Dunn is 22nd in the AL in OPS. Ahead of Pujols, Donaldson, Cespedes, Longoria and Jacoby Ellsbury. How is he the problem? Did you just carry this over from the offseason? He is still horrible.. .227 with 44 RBIs? what kind of DH/1B is that?
  19. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:21 PM) If it were the late 1970's, he'd be sitting in the pen right now. He would probably be an awesome closer if starting doesn't pan out for him
  20. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:15 PM) Danish 1.0 IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 2K Josh Norris @jnorris427 · 4m Danish showing off that gorgeous changeup again. Two Ks in the first. I bet he would be our 2nd best pitcher out of the been on the MLB team
  21. This bullpen plus Beckham and Dunn makes this team look horrible. Why we haven't replaced Beckham with just about anyone else is beyond me. Semien for Beckham Wilkins for Dunn Bullpen is pretty much unfixable at this point
  22. Here comes the s***ty bullpen... Need to win today with Toronto losing again. Come on!
