As somebody who has been a die-hard Sox fan since the days of Aparicio, Fox, Wynn, Smith, Landis and all those dudes, all I can say is enjoy the ride. the next three weeks are going to be nerve-wracking -- but fun. No guarantees this team will win -- or lose. But at least they are playing for something. I can think of too many seasons -- like last year and the year before -- when all the drama and fun was drained from the race by June 15. Do I think this team should be at least five games ahead? You bet. But it's not. So let's make the best of the final 21 games -- Cleve, 4 with Minny, three at Boston, three at Minny, three with KC, three with NYY and four at KC. And enjoy Esty, Maggs, Konerko and the rest while they are here. That's what I plan to do -- starting with watching how Danny Wright delivers today.
