  1. Even up 7-1 the Sox can't help but do stupid things... How did Jackson flat out miss the bag?
  2. Nice 1,2,3 for Putnam there. Hopefully they can get 1 more inning out of him. Would also like to see Kahnle.
  3. Putnam's changeup looks very good today.
  4. Would love to see 2 more shut down innings from Rodon.
  5. Adam Eaton is really struggling.
  6. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ May 28, 2016 -> 12:26 PM) Would like to see the exit velocity on that. 113 MPH.
  7. Would like to see the exit velocity on that.
  8. QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ May 28, 2016 -> 12:04 PM) Hey guys Maybe check out August 2005 for how bad of a 16 game stretch a World Series winner could have It's as if some of you have never watched baseball before. We are not even out of first yet, during a brutal stretch of our schedule. JFC guys A brutal stretch of the schedule? Let's not exaggerate now.
  9. This is an awful inning. Just goes to show regardless what the Sox hang up on them, it's not over.
  10. The Royals continue to amaze me. These scrubs come in & somehow play great, especially against the Sox.
  11. Rodon is wild & in turn throwing a ton of pitches.
  12. Let's get that DP ball & get out of this thing.
  13. On a side note & not just because of the HR: When does Saladino start making the bulk of the starts at SS?
  14. Best start I've seen since Monday... Hoping Rodon can relax now.
  15. Going to be at least a 20 pitch inning for Rodon.
  16. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 27, 2016 -> 09:10 PM) What was the thread about? Name one thing Robin does good? more than one thing actually was mentioned but it didn't seem to matter. This via just another slam session on Ventura and bashing the team. I pointed out before that no matter the slump we are in at this point m, and yes it us gut wrenchingly frustrating, we are still in first place. Beck on CSN Belt in Bill Melton said this loss is on the pen not Ventura 1. No one gave any serious reasons. 2. What am I b****ing about in this thread after getting answers from people? I'm just confused by your response. The whole "They are still in first place" argument won't be valid for too much longer so you may want to think of something else to hold onto...
  17. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 27, 2016 -> 08:48 PM) You get an answer to your question and then turn around and b***h about that. Can't we all just along? What are you talking about?
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ May 27, 2016 -> 08:28 PM) Players respect him Do players respect him or take advantage of him?
  19. I keep seeing multiple people defend RV & say that the players are the ones to blame, or that Cooper makes the pen decisions. So, I want to ask... What does RV do well? Can someone name me one thing? To review: 2012- Collapsed down the stretch. 2013-2014- "rebuild years". 2015- Some projected this as a World Series contender, miserably fails out of the gate, finishes 76-86 & in 4th place. 2016- Gets off to a 23-10 start, blows a huge lead against Texas & is somehow 4-12 in their last 16 games & is now .5 game up in first w/ KC 1 back. Also is 2-4 vs Cle & 1-3 vs KC. Why shouldn't Ventura receive blame?
  20. Brutal ABs by Melky & Abreu.
  21. What a piss-poor AB from Melky.
  22. Not the team you want to blow a lead against this late. Yet another loss coming that should have been a win. I've counted 3-4 games over the last 3 weeks alone that Ventura's decisions have ultimately cost this team wins. Not sure I can watch this team much longer.
