This is going to be a very difficult game to win I'm afraid. This Braves team just made our Ace look like a AAA pitcher and I'm sure that Flowers will have them tuned into Q's tendencies as well. This Teheran kid is a stud to0. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he has double digit k's today.

Navarro brings absolutely nothing to the table. he is literally one of the worst catchers in baseball.

This shouldn't matter if you hit your spots and make good pitches. Sale consistently fell behind hitters and left fastballs right over the middle of the plate.

Since the first week of May or so, the Sox bullpen has not shown the ability to do this. Nothing is going to miraculously change over the next few months. Losing Putnam and Petrickia really threw the bullpen into disarray. That and most of the relievers the Sox have are just not that good.

Also, Purke needs to be DFA'd. Dude is a bum with underwhelming stuff and no ability to locate his pitches.

The comedy routine is out on the field at 35th and Shields but it is a dark comedy lead by an incompetent manager and an in over his head gm. A third of the supporting cast are bit actors. Only one major attraction and he is only available every 5 days.
