Fall Instructional League - Preview

Featured Replies

Fall Instructs open next week. This is a developmental league for the younger prospects, and the Sox are sending quite a few of their key prospects to the league. Also some very, very young players - five of them are 16-year olds.

Here's a look at who is going and why.

I excited to see how the J2 guys come out of this, you always get a better picture of an INTL player after their second go through instructs, like Amado Nunez.

I am going to head back west in a month, so I am going to try to hit the complex and maybe see what's going on.

There are definitely a few names out of LA that I have never heard of, which is very exciting.

I haven't been on the IPL website in a while, so I will definitely look these guys up when I get the chance.

Mendoza put up good numbers in the DSL, I think he was batting high .290s most of the season until the last few weeks of the season. He might have hit a wall, but he is definitely someone to keep an eye on.

Its either him or Vasquez that was trained by Banana and his kids always hit.

None of them are Tebow's caliber
