September 24, 200322 yr Fox's "Family Guy, Vol. 2" is one of the first TV-to-DVD box sets to rank among the top 10 best-selling DVDs on VideoScan's First alert DVD sales chart, coming in at No. 6 for the week ending Sept. 9. "Family Guy: Vol. 2" is selling about 300% above its "Vol. 1" DVD box set release, which shipped about 250,000 box sets. Several industry sources said they believe that "Family Guy: Vol. 2" has already sold nearly 450,000 units and is on track to top 700,000 DVD box sets by year's end, making it one of the top-selling television series on DVD.
