sign supan to the team... heck with the 3 mil we saved on ritchie, we can get him for a good price... as i recall he always did pretty darn good against us sooooo why not have him for us for a change......he would make a decient addition to the pitching staff and come cheap enough for even kw to sign........opinions???????

HSC,any news on the Sox possibly signing Roger Clemens??The 'Stros and Rangers don't want him,the Yankmees won't want him.Have your sources told you anything or am I just dreaming again??

word is very tight right now about clemens.... all of it hinges on if the yanks get colon or not and that hinges on if clemens takes the latest offer (which isnt really much btw) from the yanks.... and if you really think about it.. the ritchie saga isnt quite over yet.. they are still talking to him.. they didnt offer him a good contract so they could avoid arbritration.. but they do continue to talk to him... i am thinking if the price is right we may very well still see him on the south side.........

I still like Ritchie, and I like Daal too. Especially at a one year deal. One year, we can't go wrong with Daal unless we pay him some ridiculous amount.

Maybe a three-way? (Not that ya sick bastard) A three-way trade involving The Sox Expos and Reds. Of course in my dreams the sox would get dempster and colon in that trade, don't know the other players the other teams would get, the reds would get vasquez, I'm sure Lee would be involved in the trade too.

you know what, I wouldn't think this a couple weeks ago, but if Clemens stays with the Yanks and Contreras signs with the BoSox, the Sox may be the only team in baseball who have the bait and money to get either of them. every other team who you would consider players in a deal aren't in the position to trade and add 8 or so mil in salary.

yes the sox have had talks with clemens agent... that much i do know... now wether they will sign him or not or if it was just a curiousity talk who knows....i highly doubt we see him here though....clemens has made it very clear he wants to finish his career out with the yanks....depends on georgies commitment to him i guess and how much rog will be willing go on what they offer him......ritchie may be a posibility of signing by may now since they are still talking to him and if the price is low enough he may very well end up back with us.......other than that its anyones guess as to what will happen.... there sure are alot of guys out there who were cut loose... 46 in all i believe....so who really knows what we will end up with.. but you can count on one thing the job will most likely go to the lowest bidder .........

he should accept a contract for less money he basicly got 10 mill already from the yanks for this year and he didnt even play now if he wants another 10 mill i would go tell him to f*** himself if i where the yanks 20 mill for one year
