I'm torn. We could be served well if we become the option for the "me too" teams, reacting to the upgrades being added to the teams they are competing with for playoffs.

 

But I've liked what we've gotten by moving first, and you never know how many teams could just decide to bow out.

 

Absolutely...also it's pretty tempting to move a bullpen piece when the return is a guy like Torres or Frazier like last year. I'd seriously consider moving mine at that price even if I were on the fence about buying/selling! If I could land a sport-wide top-10 prospect talent, that's tough to pass up.

I would really like to get some of these deals done today, on our off day. I know it is probably a small consideration, but it might be easier for everyone without the hugwatch bs.

It's their annual charity event, so pretty sure the GM has the OK, and would imagine his attendance is required.

Not worth arguing over, but it is perfectly possible to answer texts while playing golf.
