April 7, 20187 yr This roster is interesting. No elite prospects, but if you look at the prospects most sites rank in the 20's and 30's (the ones who just missed T30's), probably half of them are on this squad. Should be a fun team to watch. Here's the preview.
April 7, 20187 yr Disappointed with the talent level of this team. The lack of high school picks and the failures to develop our LatAm signings is painfully obvious when looking at this roster. Maybe a few guys from extended spring training (Curbelo, Destino, Zangari, etc) will join the club in the coming months and make this team more interesting.

I actually think Kanny is an interesting bellwether for seeing if our drafting has changed. These are a lot of the “good power, low k, good obp” guys picked in round three through like 30 last year. Will they fare differently?

Curbelo was always destined for Ext ST too, though he could maybe make A-ball later in the year. Zangari and Kincanon are surprises though.
