Twins are better defensively and the yankees are old...but it has become quite clear that the Yankees are the better team.

Him and Chipper have no right being in a broadcast booth. They live off the Grandparents and fathers.

Joe Buck is still better than Chimp..... BIG TIME

I don't think words can express how much I agree with you.

Could anyone ever imagine a Chimp/Santo team? It would just be an incoherent broadcast full of shouting and "SWUNG ON BELTED" but I bet Cub fans would love it.

lol, i hate all the cubs annoucers, theyr pretty bad :fthecubs

I HATE JOE BUCK and I ABSOLUTELY CANT STAND CHIP CARAY.... they both ride the coatails of their legendary family.

Put him back in da booth with Troy Aikman and Cris Collingowrth to call Football Games, although I think he's betta than most of da commentators out there.

It would be just like watching Sammy and his premature hops. Settle down boys...

Ya know, I've heard that "Swung on belted" before, but it never dawned on me what a lame saying that was until I just saw it spelt out. Man, I hate Chip. Have you guys ever heard him being interviewed on Mac, Jurko and Harry on ESPN? Chip goes on their show, knowing full well that Mac hates him, and Chip is the most defensive little twit you will ever hear. Quite funny actually.

And I know that Harry is considered a "legend" and all that crap, but the guy sucked. Chip fits in quite well with ol' drunkard, IMO.

Steve Stone isn't bad, at least he knows something about baseball. Unlike that idiot named "chimp" :bang

Maybe you never heard him in his prime. No doubt he stayed on the job way too long, but when Harry and Jimmy did the Sox games, nobody was ever better than those two. And when Harry joined the Sox, he had a lot to do with improving their attendance by hundreds of thousands of people.

Harry's first stroke really effected his on-air moniker. If I had to pick one reason as to why I liked Harry Carey when he was with the Sox it would have been because of his brutal honesty. If a player f***ed up or half-assed a play, Harry would let everyone at home know how he felt about it. That much, at least, you had to respect about the man.

The day Harry Carey died, even though he was employed by the Cubs at the time, was a very sad day for ALL Chicago baseball fans.

I'm in 100% agreement with you Killa. Harry was awesome, back in the day. The fact he would tell it like it is endeared him to Sox fans. They/we never respected a "homey" that wouldn't tell it like it is. Hawk pretty well calls it like he sees it, too.
