I just watched a road range argument as a guy drove past thirty cars that had already merged. 

So what do y'all do? Drive past all the drivers waiting or merge at the back of the line?

This is a major problem in Seattle.  The main problem is that drivers here refuse to come up to speed using the zipper and impatient more aggressive (appropriately aggressive on a crowded freeway) drivers will merge behind them.  The result is slowing merging for everybody but I can't blame the drivers that bypass the slower cars.

There's two lanes there for a reason. I won't floor it to get in front of as many cars as I can but I will use it to respectfully move up.
