Veeck As In Wreck: The Motion Picture

Featured Replies

Just saw this in the production listings, it's currently "In Devolpment" The only cast listed so far is Bill Murray, so I assume he'll be playing Veeck, but don't quote me on that.

Just passing it along.

Cool. I want to study Veeck, as he seemed like an interesting dude.

Unfortunatly the board is so very slow...so I guess its you and me, brother.

Good casting..... getting a Cub fan (Murray) to portray another Cub fan (Veeck) who owned the Chicago White Sox.

This has been in development for years with Murray verbally committing to it.

John McNaughton, who is a Chicago native/Sox fan, is set to direct. He also directed Normal Life and Wild Things.

Wow, shouldbe a very interesting movie. I've herad a lot about veeck, but i dont know much. I'd like to learn some more about him.

For those that want to know about about Veeck, try reading the book. It really is a very entertaining book.

As was the sequel, The Hustler's Handbook.

I love Bill Murray, and it really hurts that he is a fan of that other team.

Just because he's talented doesn't mean he's smart. :D
