And Skole is?

Skole isn't either. Maybe they know they have a LH power issue and are trying desperately to solve it.

    Nobody cares about that anymore.

  • There needs to be a change of hitting coach AND significant lineup upgrades.

The fact that Skole was hitting 6th in Charlotte and has been batting cleanup at the big league level is just comical.

Skole is a 30 year old journeyman scrub.  If Hahn thought Skole was the potential answer to anything, we should all just give up on this team right now.

Cordero was a nice pickup however.

Goins, Jay and Skole are just wasting everyone’s time. Would rather see Cordell, Mendick and Yermin.

To be fair Jay has hit into some tough luck today.

There aren't enough likes for this post.

Sign Rendon, move Yoan back to 2nd and trade Madrigal for pitching.....problem solved

Not a bad idea to be honest. I'm not sure that Moncada wouldn't take a step back with the bat if he went back to 2B though.

I‘d be hesitant to give up on Madrigal, but if you get a young controllable TOR starter, I wouldn‘t be opposed to it.

Signing Castellanos and a stop gap RF like Dickerson or Puig would also help a ton. Not a fan of Ozuna, I have a feeling he‘d completely bomb here.

The Sox wouldn’t do this in a million years.  The reason the Sox moved Moncada to 3B so quickly after failing to sign Machado was Madrigal and the position he plays.

Skole looked like Abreu there. ?

Of course, they love their own prospects too much.

And the money it saves.

Engel player that one terribly. He can go with Yolmer and others.

And now Engel looks like Eloy out there

Engel and his amazing defense.

Please.

It seems they want to put together a division contending team instead of a true WS contender.

Yep, and this is my fear for this upcoming offseason.  That they add more cheap veteran options to plug holes, using the excuse that they need to save money to lock up their in-house core of talent in the near future.

He is a good defensive CF nobody can seriously argue this.

He didn’t look so good there and it doesn’t really matter cuz his glove will never make up for his putrid bat.

Abreu has no chance

Abreu just got owned.

Even with his recent hot streak he is still at a .660 OPS for the second half.

What is McCann for the second half?
