Resources are ultimately finite and without question I would prioritize adding a high-end starter over a big time RF (don’t think we can add both).  That being said, if we decide that our 3-4-5 next year is some sort of combo of Cease, Dunning, & Kopech then we better be landing a superstar RF.

If Bauer wants a one or two year deal, I can see Jerry doing both. He wants a championship badly and those two moves with the addition of Kopech and adding Rodon to the bullpen would make us a huge favorite to win the AL. That is the savy move Jerry would want to make.
