Spent 2020 killing it in Schaumberg.

Most likely will be 1B/DH option in 2021.

 

From reading all the other threads, it seems that Soxfans and others around league, seem to be down on Vaughn.  I'm not at all, let him hit.

Where have you seen this? everybody here and around the league seem high on Vaughn.

Mostly from these mock trade rumors going around and even in today’s offseason thread, all low expectations for Vaughn.

I haven't really seen any posts here on people down on him, just a few guys who believe he could use a few more milb at bats

In all of the trade talk, especially speculation with the Rays on Snell, insiders claim that Vaughn does not have much trade value. It was repeated last night on Garfield/CSN Winter Meetings preview.  Maybe because of position.  Maybe I just am making a misjudgment!!

He definitely has a lot of trade value but not quite on the moncada level back then because he is a 1b.

Still he is very valuable because he is very cheap and projects to be a 3 war 1b man.

1b value drops once players hit arb though because arb pays for homers and RBI and doesn't factor in position so compared to their war 1b tend to get overpaid in arb.

No longer a prospect.

He's not getting sent down any time soon.
