The MLB actually handled this decently if all these games get played. The offseason stuff -- it's baseball. Hopefully guys are training. Pitchers these days hopefully have their own networks for private high velo workouts. Nothing can simulate games anyways, camp is over rated. edit: just wanted to add to this thinking: the WBC also shows that camp is over-rated. It's not like even 20 years ago where you didn't pick up a bat or ball until about the 1st week of February and then tried to work off 90 days of rust in 6 weeks. These guys train year round now, and as Bauer knows you don't lose bullets throwing hard in the offseason in fact you condition your arm better. Edited February 19, 20215 yr by chitownsportsfan
