Sox rotation so far

Keep it up, rotation! We're going to need this level of pitching all season.

Overall, the rotation has looked good.  Giolito has been good, even great in spots, but he's been let down by his offense and manager.  Lynn is a horse and has been as good as we expected.  Keuchel looked great today but has been spotty.  Cease and Rodon are the big surprises.  Both are pitching very well, especially Cease lately.  Kopech in his spot starts has been lights out and has been lights out in relief appearances, too.

It will be interesting come August and beyond (playoffs?).  If all six guys are still here, they have a lot to work with.

Listened to a podcast with eno sarris and eno is a bit down on giolito. Eno has some command and stuff plus metrics and he said currently Lucas grades very bad in the command plus and also his stuff plus is down, especially fastball spin and ride. He said the command issue comes and goes with him so that is not a huge deal but the stuff plus is a bit worrisome.

I wonder if maybe the new ball is some issue for him?

KC is running into the buzz saw of Rodon, Lynn, and Gio.  Let's find that upgrade for the outfield and start putting distance between us and the also-rans.

What's a realistic deal for Rodon?
