October 24, 200322 yr Here's Insidehoops.com's preview of the Central Division..they pick the Bulls to finish 4th..with a 41-41 record... http://www.insidehoops.com/preview-central...al-102303.shtml
October 24, 200322 yr Sounds about right.....41-41....they HAVE to win more road games than last year ( they COULD NOT lose more ) and they'll do pretty well at home, so .500 is a reasonable expectation. They have some veteran leadership in Pippen, Marshall and Gill, and the Three C's will be back ( Curry Chandler and Crawford ), as well as Fizer returning. This team COULD do some damage if things fall into place like I think they might. At least there's ONE winter team to get a little excited about in Chicago...
October 24, 200322 yr Sounds fair to me. Anywhere between 38-43 wins sounds about right. I think the big difference will be that they will win many more games on the road because of the veteran presence of guys like Pippen and Gill.
October 24, 200322 yr you realize the bulls have the longest tenured( Cartwright, 1.5 yrs) coach out of any of the Central teams?
October 24, 200322 yr you realize the bulls have the longest tenured( Cartwright, 1.5 yrs) coach out of any of the Central teams? ( using the bad Johnny Carson voice ) " I DID NOT KNOW THAT!!!" That's kinda pathetic, but that is the reality of today's sports world. Can't fire the millionaires, so the coach has to go...
