October 29, 200322 yr I'll take a s***ty for July 2002-June 2003 Konerko over a s***ty for career and extremely over-rated Jeff Weaver. Case closed. Me too, I am just throwing that name out there as an overpaid bum that fits the salary constraints.
October 29, 200322 yr Does anyone honestly see Weaver fitting in with this clubhouse? Remember the fight of 2000 and his reputation as a headhunter in Detroit? We have so many babies in our clubhouse that bringing Weaver in might bring the whole situation to a head.

We have so many babies in our clubhouse that bringing Weaver in might bring the whole situation to a head. He had big problems fitting into the Detroit clubhouse, he had one of his outfielders try to kick his ass, after he yelled at his teammates for not defending him more, after starting a different bench clearing brawl. He definately wouldn't fit in with all of the sensative cry babies in our clubhouse.
