B-Ball tryouts

Featured Replies

I had my B-Ball tryouts Monday and Tuesday. Today were cuts and it was complete B.S. I didn't make it, and I wouldn't be upset if I didn't make it, but get this. There were 3 or 4 kids that made it that were terrible. I don't see how the coaches picked a team with 3 hours of tryouts. B.S. Oh well, this may be the last time I ever try out for anything. I have never made bball or baseball teams. Oh well, another lost year.

Sorry it didn't go well. As far as picking the squads go at my high school there was usually a summer camp for the coaches to evaluate the players at. It wasn't required but it helped. If you were about even with another player in a coaches eyes they would pick the one from the camp because they knew what to expect. As far as picking players from a 3 hour tryout you can usually identify the best players right away and then coaches usually look for certain things they want in the other players. Just my two cents.

Eh, I dunno. This one kid who made was really bad. But I am just gonna let it go, because it sounds gay to.

Go out for wrestling. I was never a basketballer or baseballer, but wrestling is for everyone.

Have ya ever seen most of the wrestlers. The are not very strong, especially the younger guys, ie fresh and sophs. Wrestling is the one sport that it doesn't matter how big you are. You'd wrestle kids your size. I wasn't one of the stronger kids until really my senior year. I never really lifted super hard until last summer. Trust me it's worth it.

Oh no you diden't. *Snap* *Snap *Snap* Don't get me started. Wrestling has been good to me. :P
