Former Sox player that you grew up watching are becoming Managers and Coaches.

Guillen as Manager? Joey Cora as third base coach? Greg Wlaker asd hitting coach? What's next? Dan Pasqua? Craig Grebeck? Ron Karkovice?

Sandy Alomar 1967-69 father of...

(I was older than some of our posters are now when Sandy joined us...)

1. Sons of umpires I watched as a kid are now umpires.

2. Ray Boone played for the White Sox. I saw him. His son of course we all remember. His grandkids are veteran players now. The Boone dynasty will outlive us all.

You ask the popcorn vendor to give you the box that converts into a megaphone when the popcorn is gone so you can yell go go sox.

Barbershop quartets played in front of the stadium.

You watch "I love the 70's" on VH1 and have already forgotten about everything that they showed.

ON a side note im 18

Good one!

You remember watching TV when Ted Kluzewski hit a homerun in the 1959 Word Series.

You listened to the game on the radio because there was no TV. Wait, that's ncorgbl and keaddy. Sorry CW.

Or it was a Blackhawks game

Wow, kinda eery. TV seems to help most sports teams, yet Wirtz still won't put the Hawks on. I guess after this season, we won't have to worry about that for a while.

Maybe cwsox can tell us a little about the days of Shoeless Joe??

I don't know where Damon Buford is right now, but if he's out of the game as a player you can add Don Buford to cw's mention of Sandy Alomar.

I actually almost had to use my "Carlton Fisk" bat this past month out in the country. A wolf was messing around near the cabin, and I didn't know what to do. So I got ready for anything.

By the way, I had a Brian Downing glove in Little League.
