Is that soley counting the players that are still over there. I'm curious to know where Matsui would rank if its not counting him.

It sounds like it is players who could come over here, but it never really clearly spells that out. I too wonder where Matsui would rate against these other guys.

Has their been any news on that Cuban Defector that was 24 and can hit the upper 90's. Seems like its been awfully quiet...a guy like that would of been snatched up pretty quick in the past.

Sounds like Matsui is the last good japanese player coming to the US for a while. Well Matsui and that other guy thats coming over.

Supposedly he was being stashed away somewhere in central america to insure his status as a free agent, before he comes to the US. Haven't heard anything since.

Problem is he is suppose to have a ripped up arm. Also has been said to not been able to hit the high nineties anymore. I would try ta get him if he is not super expensive (looks like he will be expensive).

I think he is probably older too, those tricky Cubans. :P

250 pitch, 17 inning outting. Holy f***ing s***.

Yeah they said he was only in the upper 80's when he left Cuba...I think his name was Koch or something
