I have said all along that if the White sox were a winning team, people would enjoy John a lot more.

That’s the thing though. His style of being excited and positive all the time is better suited for a winning team.

Bringing that style to a bad team with a jaded fanbase is not the best fit.

Eh I don't know what kind of announcers you're expecting for a bad team and jaded fanbase. We're at the point that no matter what, we whine about everything. There is no pleasing , placating, nor soothing us.

Is there such an announcer that exists for this fan base that would be universally accepted as decent ?

".Here's the pitch Vaughn hits a ground ball to short for the 50th time this season . The Shortstop could run the ball over to 1st base and still get Vaughn out. Good Lord he's slow. Sit your ass down. Why are you even in the lineup ? Why you even on the team. What is Venable thinking ? What was Getz thinking ? What in heavens name is Reinsdorf doing ? That brings up Louis Robert who is 0 for 4 with 3 K's. He used to be La Pantera. Now he's just a p****... cat. Why can't we have nice things ?  Meowww. "
