Has anyone heard about the Angels possibly putting Percival on the trade block? I found this snippet of info at the Minneaoplis Star Tribune website:

 

If Guardado can't return to Minnesota, his first choice would be playing near home. The Angels are contemplating trading closer Troy Percival and have spoken with Guardado's agent, Kevin Kohler.

There were rumblings about Percival for Ordonez, but that would be stupid. I'd like Percival, but the price would have to be a little less, while respecting Percival's status. How about Garland for Percival? LOL, the owner would consider Garland a non-marketable player just like last off-season....

I'm no fan of Jon Garland, but I don't think the Sox can afford to trade a rotation guy, plus he just signed an affordable contract.

Yes if I do remember correctly we almost dealt Garland to Anaheim two offseason's past.

Isn't there questions about Percival's hip? Bo Jackson, Konerko, Percival, the White Sox would be the hippest team in the league.

To me, Troy Percival is "Billy Koch II."

 

One of those is hard enough to deal with, but two of them? Yikes!
