I am told our remaining schedule is easy, but it may not be THAT easy

Thoughts? Those last 2 series of the season may be pivotal for us if we don't keep building up this divisional lead.

vs. Mets - "Easy", but is a "nothing to lose" team that did sweep Cleveland not long ago

vs Rangers - .500ish and in the Wild Card/division race, they should be playing hard

@ Twins - .500ish and in the race, they should be playing hard (Also, heating up a bit?)

@ Astros (4 games) - .500ish and in the Wild Card/division race, they should be playing hard

vs. Twins - Same as above

vs. Pirates - .500ish, scrappy, "nothing to lose".

@ Cardinals - .500ish, scrappy, "nothing to lose".

@ Guardians - Will probably be another high intensity, emotional series

vs. Tigers - Will probably be another high intensity, emotional series

@ Royals - Finally an actual bad team

vs. Rockies - Another actual bad team

There is no game that is easy. On any given day, a one team can win. Don't think the Sox are resting on their laurels.

Mets are off Thursday and are 11-4 since the trade deadline. Sox are getting them at exactly the wrong time.

Simple equation - SWEEP THE CENTRAL!!!

I think maintaining the status quo is important. I also think just slightly above status quo , which has seemed impossible for a couple months, wins this division easy.

I will say as a New Yorker who follows the Mets, I think they've also gotten a lot of teams at the right time too.
