3 hours ago3 hr Fegan had this notation in his Sun-Times story today.Jordan Leasure apparently had Tommy John surgery on August 17.He was put on the 60 day IL a few months ago after reporting arm issues.Guessing he won't be back next season until very late in it, assuming they are playing although he may miss it completely given how late this year he had the operation.

3 hours ago3 hr Too bad. He has a future as a backend guy. Amusing to me that he and Vasil didn't contribute at all to what ended up being a very good bullpen.

59 minutes ago59 min He's got a great arm and it wouldn't surprise me if he has some more productive years in the future. I expect the Sox will DFA him in the offseason when the 60-day IL guys have to be re-added to the 40. I doubt anyone will want to stash him on their 40 for an entire season, so there's a reasonable chance he takes a minor league deal after clearing waivers...in which case we would probably see him back in the bigs eventually. Got to see him a bit in spring training and he seemed like a real sweetheart. Little boy in a big man's body type of guy. Hoping for the best for him.

Give him his major league salary for a year, since he was going to get it anyway, and commit to his continuing medical care, and then get a MiLB deal done.
