January 15, 200323 yr The only bad thing about this is is the fact that the Cubs will consistently beat the living daylights out of the Brewers now....they will then consider themselves contenders since they can beat the worst team in the major leagues(even worse than Detroit or Tampa Bay). whooohoo cubs! i didnt even know ritchie was going anywhere but good riddance.

January 15, 200323 yr I don't blame Ritchie for the poor year he had. The man was trying to pitch with a sore arm. He went out and did the best he could under the circumstances until the team shut him down. I hope he does well with the Brew Crew and gets his career back on track. And I still think he could have been an asset to the Sox in 2003. Especially at the price he signed for with Milwaukee. What was it? $650K plus incentives up to $1.4M?

January 15, 200323 yr Good post Yasny. I don't begrudge Ritchie either. He handled his awful season with class. He took all responsibility. But he was so horrific it screwed up our season big time.
