Tejada Could be an Oriole...

Angelos is willing to lose a fortune.

Watch out for the Orioles next season! Tejada, Pudge, Mora, Segui, and their young'n's will be pretty good. Anyway, this opens up trade possibilities with the Angels (Percival, Washburn, Eckstein, Erstad), M's (Garcia, Winn, Prospects), A's, and a few other teams in need of a SS or RF.

The O's just cleared a TON of payroll in the last year. They had contracts like Batista, Belle, and Erickson among others come off of the payroll.

I know during the middle of the season there were some reports that Baltimore would be willing to increase their payroll by as much as 40 million.

Signing Tejada was definately the first step. This has to make a Mariners/Maggs deal a little more likely.

Well for Huff, we'd have to trade 2 out of Rauch/Cotts/Pacheco/Honel/Wing +Borcahrd, Rauch and Pacheco come to mind first.

If your talking about Aubrey Huff I'd say no way.. The only way I want Huff on this team is that he's the DH, He's awful in the Field.
