I got my wish this offseason with the Buehrle deal, so whatever else happens I am just going to live with.

Yes to the Maggs deal ONLY if we keep Garciaparra.

Maggs for a #3 or 4 pitcher is a bad idea.

 

I am fine with any deal that gets E6 out of town, since he is too f***ing dumb to ever stop batting right-handed. That is, as long as he's the only one leaving in the trade - or if he's a throw-in in a deal to get a front-line pitcher.

If we keep Nomar then sure I'm for it...as long as Cotts isn't a part of it. This also is contingent on the Sox getting pitching and increasing their budget to do it if they have to.

 

As far as Jose...I think yes, but I don't know what the Sox are getting.

You knwo we won't keep Nomar. He will command 14 million next year, and on top of that he doesn't want to play here. Trade him get good young pitching and win the division
