Don't get down now on the Sox

How can we win with a staff of:

Sirotka

Baldwin

Eldred

Parque?

We did, we will be fine now and maybe its better that we aren't so optimistic giving them too much pressure. I'll be we will win the division this year cause everyone's down.

Always good to keep the optimism flowing. If we have some break out years from some players we can do it that's for sure.

This team should win this division each and every year it exist. A better organization would have won at least 3 of the last 4.

I agree that there should be some optimism. Mostly, because we are in a very weak division. Our offense should finally produce consistantly this year. Go Sox!

I am optimistic just because no team in the AL central has made any significant changes. If the Sox players play to their caliber we still have the best team at least to win the central.

The Royals have made themselves better. Signed most their FA's, besides Ibanez, and have brought some new guys in. They have...everyone else hasn't. The Tigers have done more than us.

Kelly Stinnett, Tony Graffanino, Benito Santiago, Matt Stairs, Scott Sullivan, Curtis Leskanic....

Tony G would be the only player I would like the Sox to have the resrt are just bums.

Sullivan is no bum, he has been one of the better relievers in the majors the last few years, and he greatly improved our bullpen, I would've had no problem with him being back with the sox this year.

The better team was the Twins who won this crap Division 2 out of the past 3 seasons. And with the way the '03-'04 offseason is shaping up, there is no reason to think that the Twins couldn't win the AL Central again.

Kelly Stinnent is no bum...he's a decent backup catcher.

Tony Graffanino is a guy we are all very familiar with. Very good utility infielder who hits well.

Benito Santiago is actually a pretty good catcher, even in his old age. Probably better then any catcher on the White Sox.

Matt Stairs is not actually that bad of a hitter. I believe he hit 20 homers mainly against RHP last year. We could have used him. I guess we just get to watch him smash Garland about 4 times this year.

Scott Sullivan is a pretty damn good reliever. We also witnessed that last year.

Curtis Leskanic is also a pretty damn good reliever. The Royals got two damn good relievers for cheap.

Meanwhile, we have done very little...we resigned Carlos, and made a trade that will most likely never happen. KW better get his s*** together or we are f***ed.

Oh, but wait, we signed Jose Santiago. The division is ours!
