Is Schoenweis

our #4 starter as of now?

As of today, yes. DO I think we will go into the spring this way? No. I believe he will go in as the #5 starter/long reliever

By the looks of things he will be in the rotation. A better question is who else will join him in the rotation? I don't think KW will sign another starter so it comes down to Rauch, that rule 5 draft pick, Cotts, Wright, and Diaz. We NEED more pitching.

I think it is very likely that KW will sign at least one starting pitcher superior to Schoeneweis and then I believe one of our young guys (Diaz, Rauch or Cotts) will be the number 5 man. Schoeneweis could then either be traded during spring training or will stay above Munoz on the lefties depth chart, and will be our 3rd lefty out of the pen behind Wunsch and Marte.

The Sidney Ponson rumors won't go away.If it happens,it probably won't be until January.God,does this team need pitching. But,of course, the Sox will take the cheapest way out possible.

Do Sox fans a favor,Reinsdork. If you're not going to put a competitive product on the field,SELL THE f***ING TEAM ALREADY!!!!!!!!
