I know they call them the friendly confines, but when a lot of people are drunk, the bathrooms are crowded and what not else(as I have never been to Wrigley Field and I never plan on going), how can it be friendly? I have come to love these boards, not only for the hard work that has gone in to them, but for the assistance that I have received from those who put these boards together. That assistance has shown that the prime motivation is to have a forum for things Sox, not to construct an ego structure to themselves. Maybe that is why I never liked WSI but am thrilled and honored to be a member here where Sox and Sox fans come first, not monuments to egos.

January 22, 200323 yr Author What that list tells me is that the Chicago sports fan is a tough s.o.b. that expects better than what he is getting... from all the local teams. The Cubs at 83, the Sox at 85 and Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks coming in even lower than that. Of course, with the superbly wonderful collection of owners we have in Chicago, I'm sure that contributed greatly to low ratings. Sarcasm in green.
January 22, 200323 yr this board most of the time has lively talk, new subjects and i feel a better tone of conversation going on most thread. whereas other boards has the same old tired talk and conversation. i get tired reading that dribble. i sometime go over there to read certain posters. they do have some great people whose loyalty is somewhat misplace................... but oh well. keep this up people!!!!!!!
