January 27, 200422 yr unlike many sequels, this could very well be a very, very good one. I'm looking forward to it and i'd expect it to be hilarious. However, hopefully they dont cast Streisand, as that would make the movie worse even before it's made

Meet The Parents was cute, not altogether unfunny and set the expectations....and expecations, as you know, are the ENEMY of everything-- especially sequels. (See: Reloaded, Matrix) On a related note, Blythe Danner is AWESOME (talking person and actress here). Her pretentious, overrated daughter (Gwyneth Patrow), however, is NOT.
