January 24, 200422 yr The refs gave the game to the Twolves here. Last play of the game, Pistons down 1. Billups drives with a lot of contact, he makes the basket, and they call an offensive foul. That was the worst call I have ever seen. There was contact, but he didn't even extend his arm. I have no idea how that is offensive. Did anybody else see this? On a sidenote, it's nice to see top eastern teams playing well. The Pistons went into Minny and played well. Indiana lost to the Rockets at home, but they have been doing well. As a Bulls fan I hate these teams, but I'm sick of the east sucking.
January 24, 200422 yr The NBA has fallen in love with offensive fouls, there are way more called than should be. I don't think the refs even understand the rules anymore, just whenever a defender goes down it's an offensive foul nowadays. Also, I'm not really surprised with the East doing well against the West. The western teams like to run and gun, if you slow down the tempo and play the half court game with good defense, you have a good shot.

Unless Shaq is involved and they refuse to blow the whistle even when he elbows people in the face.
