February 18, 200422 yr The MVP thing last year was kind of odd... ARod had a down year last year... He put up much bigger numbers the two previous years, and didn't win the award. Frank also had monster numbers and didn't win in 2000... Winning the MVP last year was a combination of the previous years, and the lack of "likeability" of manny. Who had a better year, but wasn't even well liked in his own clubhouse, let alone with the voters.
