March 7, 200422 yr Round 1, Pick 14 Overall: Vince Wilfork, DT, Miami Round 2, Pick 48 Overall: Nat Dorsey, OT, Georgia Round 3, Pick 79 Overall: Bernard Berrian, WR, Fresno State Round 4, Pick 104 Overall (from Washington): Dave Ball, DE, UCLA Round 4, Pick 110 Overall: Ben Hartsock, TE, Ohio State Round 5, Pick 144 Overall: Dexter Reid, S, North Carolina Round 6, Pick 175 Overall: Lewis Moore, OLB, Pittsburgh Round 7, Pick 206 Overall: B.J. Sander, P, Ohio State Any thoughts? What do you guys think about this draft. It fills many holes.
March 7, 200422 yr Sander is one helluva punter... I gotta believe someone picks him in 6 or even earlier
March 7, 200422 yr Do they need another TE? I don't think they use it much in this offense right? But it looks really good to me.
March 7, 200422 yr I love the idea of getting Sanders, although I doubt he slides till the 7th. I'm not all that famliiar with the latter round picks, but the 1st two rounds seem very reasonable.
March 8, 200422 yr I would rather get Shawn Andrews (if available) witht the 14th pick, then we would have a great O-line and Gandy can be the guard he is built to be. Then, with the 2nd round pick, I would get the DT from Maryland (Max Starks?) or the DT from Texas (Stubbs?), which ever is available. Any thoughts?
