How Many games can the Sox sell out?

And when the Sox play the Cubs at the cell I hope that the stadium isn't filled with cubs fans. :fthecubs

I wouldn't worry too much about that.

The Sox are holding the Cubs series tickets for partial or full season ticket packages, and they'll release any leftovers for general sale after April or early May.

I think it's a good move, if you want Sox fans at Sox games.

I think the Sox will sell out the Yankees series, maybe the Red Sox series ( especially the Loaiza bobblehead game ) and obviously if the Sox are in contention for the division title, they'll sell out some games later in the season.

Well, at least the three Cub games, and probably a few more if we stay in contention. Taking out the rows from the Upper Deck should make it easier to sell out some games, I would expect.

how many games you going to?

I think the 11 number is a great guess, especially with less seats this year. If the Sox are in contention they'll probably sell a few of the KC and Twin games with walk-up crowds.

The question should be, will the Sox have more sell outs than William Hung sells CD's...

Unfortunately not.

They'll sell out 22 games. 3 against the Cubs, 3 against the Yankees, 6 against Minnesota, 4 against KC, and then 6 more on other various games(bobblehead, other big series, etc).

That's my magic number.

I think this depends on if they are in a playoff race towards the end of the season. Regardless, they should sell out at least 6. Opening day, two against the Yanks, and all three cub games. But if they play exciting baseball this number could double or triple.
