March 29, 200421 yr They are through 3 innings and Sox lead 3 - 0. Mags with a 3 run blast in the 1st.
March 29, 200421 yr Keep Cotts around, young and has great stuff. Can we trade Schoe to the Pirates for some young promising pitchers, like Wells and Fogg??
March 29, 200421 yr Good to hear that Neal is responding. Suddently KW's job is getting much more difficult
March 29, 200421 yr Don't know who is pitching, but I did see this on Rotoworld Mike Sweeney wanted to play Sunday after missing the two previous games because of a twinge in his lower back, but he was held out of another game. Sweeney is expected to sit out one more game today. He could return tomorrow. "It was simply a little twinge. If this is the regular season, I'm in there. For sure," Sweeney said.
March 29, 200421 yr Good to hear that Neal is responding. Suddently KW's job is getting much more difficult Or easier, depending how you lok at it.
March 29, 200421 yr Author Now bottom of 4 and still 4 - 0. Hopefully the Royals have a good line up in. So this shows good for Cotts.
March 29, 200421 yr Author Correction....6 - 0 bottom of 4. AARON ROWAND (3) OFF LES WALROND IN THE 4TH
March 29, 200421 yr Author 3 run blast by Mags and a 2 run shot by Rowand...after that, I have no idea.
March 29, 200421 yr You think a statement is being sent in this game? Spring or no spring game, I think this is a message to KC.
March 29, 200421 yr Very excited about this score. Especially for Cotts. This could definitely give him some confidence. I hope the team is trying tomake a statement to KC today. If they are, then this is a completely different team then we saw last year, and I am even more excited for this season with some attitude. I'm glad we have Ozzie here to help turn this team around. Bring on the regular season!
March 29, 200421 yr says on Yahoo that Sanders gave up the homer, not Cotts. Maybe a typo there, but I hope not.
March 29, 200421 yr Wait, no! The homer was off of Sanders. Cotts must have been taken out after 4. That makes sense. Neal hasn't been stretched out yet this spring, so he probably didn't have more than 75-80 pitches in him.
