They put the Bull Sh*t in Bull Pen

How's this for blown saves and missed opportunities?

No reason for a Sox starter to believe that any lead is safe, unless the starter closes out what he starts.

If I was Rauch, I'd be thinking about a career as a relief pitcher, I have a feeling there will be some openings in the pen.

Here's the difference between the Yankees and the Sox. George would be screaming for a relief pitcher to buy.

And to the notion that if we make the playoffs that anything can happen in a series, it can't happen if you cannot close the deal.

I almost miss that human sweat machine Keith Foulke. Not that we would have paid him the money he wants anyways.

I miss scott eyre, these guys are so bad

We haven't had a good pen since Bobby (Pigpen) Thigpen was closing for us.

I'd argue with that. Last years pen was really good. Basically the only guy that wasn't was Koch, other than that, they saved a lot of games.

this years pen is not that bad..... its only one bad inning and besides those two walks polite looked good

In fact, Politte looked damn good. Wicked even.

I never knew Politte threw that hard. I hope he keeps it up.

You're right about Politte, he throws some heat.

But the following are question marks:Shingo, Adkins, Jackson, Cotts, Botch, And maybe Marte.

Marte has had below average Aprils the past couple seasons. I guess it just takes him a while to get warmed up. He will be fine.

Basically everybody but Politte is a question mark :) . Marte should step it up definately, hes better than that.

i dont think we can say marte is a question mark just because he had a bad game and also i can't say politte is our best reliever...we need a good month or two to determine that...

I hope everyone gets their act together before the sCrUBS come to our side of town at least. :fthecubs
