The ball really seemed to be carrying, I'll be really interested to see what the people who were at the game have to say.

I think it's a combo of wind speed and the new roof. The hole (or gap, whatever you wanna call it) right before the roof probably causes a vacuum. We might experience the same type of wind effects that Wrigley experiences. In other words prepare for seeing lots of HR's hit in bunch's.

I was at the game, I think it was a combo of bad pitching and a HUGE wind. The wind wasn't constant though, but when it came around, it gusted like crazy.

They said on the news that it was blowing hard to right. So I'm guessing that's it.

I think it was cuz Loaiza felt sorry for us kicking the s*** out of them, so he had to make it atleast somewhat respectable.

Then again, that makes no sense since we scored like 9 of our runs in the 6th, 7th, and 8th.

Maybe Loaiza is a psychic.

If you look at the homers, I think most if not all were hit off of pitches that were up in the zone or out of the zone and left over the plate. Later in the season these pitchers won't make as many of those mistakes.

Poor pitching...

Here's a new stat just for Esty:

Remember when they released the balloons in the opening ceremony? They swirled around like crazy down behind center field with all that wind. They werent moving up, they were going in circles.
