When will they stop bringing it up?

Featured Replies

I just went into the lunchroom and the Times was in there opened to a story about Prior and when I looked at the facing page it is an article about the fan incident last year and how the Royals are still worried.

I admit that I didn't even read it, the title irritated me too much. I also realize it is the '1 year anniversary' but when do they let it go instead of giving it more publicity?

Anyway...

GO SOX!

Hey, if the Royals are that worried about another "incident", they could always forfeit, change their diapers and go home....

They probably should worry about the ass kickings going on between the white lines, instead of the people in the stands...

How will you celebrate the 25th Aniversary?

How will you celebrate the 25th Aniversary?

The same way I reacted back then:

shake my head about the morons, then ignore it after that.

that was a complete and utter embarrassment.

Hey, atleast the park was pretty packed. That is one way to get fans to come out to see the team :bang

Well, they did schedule the last two games at the same time of the Cubs games so that their fans stay on the North side.

Yeah it really needs to be dropped already...I read the article...and it was basically the same rantings we heard before. Tony G stepped up for the sox fans and defended us.

I just don't understand the Royals....they are grown men.....They know there are some wackos and idiots out there. It has nothing to do with "Sox Fans" and I'm sick of everytime they discuss they say...It's just crazy chicago fans. That's a crock...it's a couple wack jobs and they are in every city...not just Chicago.

It's just like any kind of stereotyping.... enough is enough

Just a reminder of what drunk Cub fans are capable of. :fthecubs

Hopefully I'll be celebrating it with the White Sox going into the All-Star break with a double-digit lead in the AL Central. :headbang :headbang :headbang

In a word, never.

If I recall right, there were more fan incidents in Oakland last year than were in Chicago. Someone there even set off fireworks in the stadium, hurting a kid. That didn't get anywhere NEAR the airplay that our incident did.
