February 11, 200323 yr what would you do if we some how signed both now that could be compared to the best staves in baseball. person is coming off some operation and seeing how long it took rauch to recover, i highly doubt the sox will go after him, unless its for a minor league money. which i will not blame kw for doing,

February 11, 200323 yr Person is pretty much a guarantee at starting in AAA somewhere. He probably won't be able to pitch in the majors for the first month. I don't see the Sox signing him, but he can definately be had cheap if Rogers doesn't sign. If we don't sign Rogers, I'd think they'd consider signing Person to a minor league deal, let him rehab and if Rauch is struggling, then he'll get a shot, if Rauch isn't, then he could go to the bullpen, demand his release, get dealt, or stick around in the minors till someone goes down.
