Top prospect Kris Honel's season debut didn't go as expected. Honel pitched 4 innings and left after facing one batter in the fifth inning due to discomfort in his right throwing elbow. Honel is going to be evaluated by team doctors this morning.

 

In his four innings of work, Honel gave up 3 runs on two hits. He struck out seven while walking three.

    Yeah, but I'm worried that they had him skip another start. Hopefully he pitches and is back in good form after the layoff.
