The only reason why the games ever got to WCIU is because of the WB.

 

The tribune operates the WCIU, so when they decided that the WB was more important than the Cubs and the other sports teams they used the U as another outlet.

 

I don't think the new comcast deal which starts in October, will have any effect on it.
