April 28, 200421 yr I got to say im still stunned that Carlos wasnt thrown out at the plate when the game turned into an 8-7 ballgame. If Lawton throws that anywhere close to the plate, Carlos would have been meat. And Uribe continues to get more respect from sox fans, he started out being made fun of as "the only guy kenny got in the offseason" to "holy s***, this man can hit!" Keep it up Uribe!!!!
April 28, 200421 yr That's the way MLB keeps the stats, so that's good enough for me -- Winning in the last AB and 1-Run victories go hand in hand. OK. s***, 5 runs is a lot harder to muster than 1, why call it a 1-run game? I feel like we're getting rooked by the statskeepers now.
April 28, 200421 yr Just got back from the game... All I can say is wow. What a game for Uribe. Crede looks more comfortable at the plate now too. The wind was nuts today. I couldn't believe how much pop ups were dancing in the air. Hats off to Jackson and Shingo as well.
