I am Wondering

Featured Replies

the nyy are trying to pare off some of there salary and that was why he were offering sterling hitchcock to anybody. i wonder if he might look good in a sox uni esp if the yanks will eat some of his contract?

Hitchcock is a little mediocre...I wouldn't take my chances.

the last 2 seasons he has had era's over 5 and im guessing spent some time on the DL because he was used very infrequently..only 20 games last year

I'd definately take a healthy Hitcock in the number 5 slot of our rotation. The problem is Sterling hasn't been healthy for a long time and now he's simply a lefty specialist/long reliever. We got Munoz, Sanders and Stewart that are all capable in the minors as well as Porzio.

I'll pass on this one. Would rather spend the money on someone like Robert Person.
